Hills of the Maremma

Squeezed between Tuscany and Lazio, this splendid strip of land is incredibly unknown and therefore unspoilt. Breathtaking colours in every season, this landscape is rich in good fruit and marked by olive groves, vineyards and simple people full of hospitality. Perfectly conserved medieval villages, which from first sight seem to spring straight out of the tuff rock cliffs they stand on. With a little bit of curiosity you will discover castles and villages from another time, whilst hidden in intricate woods lie exceptional necropolises and the ancient sacred roads of the Etruscans. We are on the slopes of Monte Amiata, an ancient and today extinct volcano where a corner of paradise hides a natural warm water thermal spring. To discover and to love, the Hills of the Fiora, where in every corner there is nothing complex but genuine, traditional peasant life, the customs of ancient civilisations and the chance to rediscover life in close contact with nature.
