Tasting
The Maremma Collinare has always been a territory dedicated to producing wine. In fact, archeologists have found traces of this ancient trade that date back to the age of the Etruscans. Today there are an endless number of privates wineries throughout the territory who, together with local cellars, offer certified products of only the highest quality. The Bianco di Pitigliano and the Rosso di Sovana are two local D.O.C wines. Other local wines have earned the important I.G.T ticket, which recognises that the grapes used and wineries where they were grown in are all Tuscan. You can put together your own personalised wine tasting tour, all organised in local wineries where you can not only try but also buy wines at the best price and with the certainity of their origin. Tasting tours range between €15 and €50 per person depending on the wineries you choose. All wine tasting tours included at least the following services:

A wine tasting itinerary that captures the flavours and excellent quality of the Maremma Collinare territory. Tours include a visit to three cellars with tasting and explanation of the different production methods, followed by a tasting dinner where the wines tasted during the afternoon will be matched to some delicious dishes.
To ensure your safety and to respect the local liquor laws, we have included an 8 seat minivan with driver to take you on the wine cellar tour and back to your accomodation at the end.
