Painting Courses
The artistic technique of design with watercolour paints, popular for its versatility and easy application, will give you satisfaction beyond all expectation, allowing you to capture the splendid corners of the countryside and the picturesque land of the Etruscans.
The painting courses, held by a local artist, are made up of a mix of theory and practice. The courses begin with a description and explanation of the materials and techniques you will use before you begin work on you personal masterpiece.
The capacity of observation, dimensions and proportions, choice and mixture of colors, lights and shadows will all be used to depict the most suggestive scenery of the Citta del Tufo (Tuff Rock Cities) on the veranda of the B&B Il Borgo, from which you can admire an unparalleled view of the rock cliffs of Pitigliano.
Types of Courses
Design and Colour en plein air
Duration of the course: 6 hours
The course begins at 10 am at the B&B Il Borgo with breakfast on the terrace, followed by a walk to find inspiration, lunch is not provided.
2pm on the terrace of the B&B we will play with the colours of design
5pm aperitifs and departure
A weekend immersed in art
An entire weekend dedicated to painting, duration of the course: 12 hours
Friday: arrival and a presentation on the course on the terrace of the B&B Il Borgo, guests are then shown to their rooms and can then spend dinner and the evening wherever they wish.
Saturday: 9.30- breakfast on the terrace and a walk to find inspiration.
1pm: lunchtime, guests must provide their own lunch
2pm- 5pm- second lesson
an evening off and dinner, guests must provided their own dinner
Sunday: 10am-1pm: lesson
lunch, guests must provided their own lunch
2pm-5pm: forth and last lesson
6pm- aperitifs and departure.
