In the stretches of the Lente River, which flows close to the villages of Sorano and Pitigliano, you will find rainbow trout, brown trout and beautiful chubs.

The valleys of the territory are rich in Etruscan ruins and numerous wild animals which are unique to this area including local types of boar, deer, porcupine and many birds species, both sedentary and migratory.

These valleys are the perfect place to spend unforgettable days fishing in contact with nature.

Pike of Mezzano

The small lake of Mezzano has volcanic origins, as seen by the shape of the surrounding area, which resembles a large crater.

Today the lake is a true paradise on earth and its shores and waters are rich in numerous animals species, the perfect place for those who want to do some bird watching.

The pike is the undisputed king of these waters, some of which weigh almost ten kilograms. Often, while you are struggling to reel in a small whitefish or carp, you will find that it has been the victim of this powerful predator, which even attacks lobsters.
