Under Maremman sky


Self-taught, but a trained professional since 2001, Andrea de Maria worked for years as a photographer for the ActionImage Agency in Rome, with whom he taken and supplied images for advertising campaigns and events for companies such as Swatch, Opel, Luxottica, Murphy & Nye, Chrysler, Nissan , Beck’s, Da Kine, RRD, Red Bull, Nautor, Comar, Lloyd Sardegna and the Ministry for the Environment and Territory. He has also spent many years conducting photographic research on the entire Grosseto province, specializing in coastal environments. These images are continuously update in his archives and are used by local authorities, publishers, businesses, communication agencies and private companies, many of which directly work on projects that aim to promote the territory.

With a flair for capturing the best of Tuscany, Andrea de Maria creates tailored photographic campaigns for companies and has worked with many businesses including Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi and Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari Estates. He has published monographs for Laurum Publishing: “Argentario Spiagge d’autore” and “Argentario racconti di luce e di Mare”; for Cesare Moroni Publications: “Mare di Maremma” and “Voga!”; and for Effigi Publications: “Effetto Capalbio”, “Effetto Magliano” and ” Effetto Giglio “. He has published as a co-author for the Province of Grosseto: ” Maremma distretto rurale”; for NIE Publishing: “Portolano turistico del mar di maremma”; and for Laurum Publishing: Escursionismo d’Autore nella Terra degli Etruschi – Viaggio nella Maremma tosco-laziale e nella Tuscia”. He is the production manager for the Europolis Publishing House, with whom he has taken images for “Bolgheri DOC”. He has also collaborated with Canon Italia to teach professional digital photography and with Didagma-Rome to produce professional videos.
