Sovana Resort
Sovana Hotel&Resort is the most exclusive hotel in Sovana, the celebrated Etruscan city and important medieval centre, and the entire Tufo Rock Cities area. The residence was once a countryside homestead but is today an elegant and refined hotel, positioned only a short distance from the splendid city Duomo. Sovana Hotel & Resort has been renovated with careful attention to detail and embellished with exposed beams and antique furniture for a warm and authentic atmosphere. The resort’s large park with olive trees, rose gardens, paths, labyrinth, contemporary art gallery and ancient Etruscan ruins make it truly unforgettable. Inside the large park is private guest parking and a pool carved from precious Carrara marble and fitted with a phyto-purification system.
The rooms
The hotel has 18 rooms divided into three types: Classic, Superior and Deluxe. All rooms have their own TV, telephone and mini-bar and are all designed with terracotta floors, rooves with exposed beams and Hot/Cold heat pumps. The rooms are stylishly furnished with regal glamour and a mix of ancient and modern to create an exclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Some of the rooms have a stunning glimpse of the Duomo of Sovana, while the others overlook the gentle valleys that surround the town.
