La Locanda Pantanello is an antique homestead immersed in the green rolling hills of the Tuscan Maremma, a tranquil oasis dedicated to those who want to pamper their body and mind. La Locanda is surrounded by a large garden, where you will find local Mediterranean plant life, flowers and many different varieties of roses. The farmhouse itself has everything you could possibly want on your vacation, from a large covered pool that’s open from April to October to a heated Jacuzzi and gazebo with ping pong and swings for the kids. For those who love cooking, we have meals and cooking courses based on traditional Maremman recipes and prepared with largely home grown ingredients. In summer, dinner and cooking courses are held on the outdoor veranda overlooking the garden, while in the colder months, we use our large dinning room and kitchen with its beautiful fireplace to keep us all warm.

The rooms

The rooms are very welcoming and furnished with Tuscan-made furniture that dates back to the ‘800. Every room has a bathroom with shower, hairdryer and bar fridge. The warm water in the shower is heated by solar panels, so we’re doing our part of the environment. Rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed every day and sheets every second day. Every room is named after a different flower: primrose, rose, cyclamen, violet and orchid. Each morning you’ll wake up with the smell of cake fresh from the oven, which you can enjoy at breakfast with homemade jam.
